My work with Sombre Soniks began in 2007 when I lived in Hawai`i. I was invited to participate in a Dark Ambient compilation and that eventually turned into full releases and more contribution to other compilations and several collaborative works. Being part of this community of sonic artists has been an extraordinarily rewarding and nurturing experience, helping me produce some of my favourite music.

A Label for the Insiders; created for a Community.

Following another invitation to be part of a compilation, I began working with Devil's Breath and their label, M.A.D. Records out of Malta. Not only have their releases been inspirational and compelling, but so has their support and the community they have fostered through their label, making working with them a true pleasure, sonically and creatively.

Labels with Seesar Releases without a Permanent Contract

I have worked with numerous labels for one-off releases, and there are several releases on these labels that are unique to those labels such that the releases cannot be found elsewhere. All of these labels have been a positive experience and host a myriad of amazing material by countless fantastic projects. Some of these labels include: Ambient Online, Alrealon Musique, Big Cypress Swamp, Silber Records, and my own Dagon Records.

Related Projects

Collaborations, Spin Offs, and Improv

Seesar takes on many forms and sometimes it's hard to keep that form in one vein, style, or configuration. The sounds are all still related in their experimentation, instrumentation, or creation approaches. This may be more dark ambient material, or noisy electro-acoustic improv, or simply something different. Projects have included works with jazz, noise, electronic, Gothic, and other musicians, players who make their own instruments of some description, or groups who defy categorization. This list is extremely long, so a slight taste of who this may include can be P.A.S. Musique, Vultures Quartet, collaborations under the moniker New Leaders of the Eldritch Cult, and my personal favourite, Silence Wave.
