ABOUT SEESAR

Seesar is the (mostly) solo dark ambient, improv and experimental , soundscape composition and performance project by Will Connor. Seesar draws from Lovecraftian horror being re-thought in a futurist context, attempting to utilize the nature of "the unknown" to question who are the real monsters in Lovecraft's narratives and invite listers to engage with sonic art by employing a new or more open way of listening in hopes that the listener develops skills of analysis and acceptance which can afford the capability to rethink these stories, the sounds that represent them, and performative methodologies, but also their take on "the other" and how we can, as a society, dissolve that needless barrier and expand our appreciation for that with which was are unfamiliar.
